The sesame auction for Rs 19.54 lakh was held on Saturday at the Mylampadi Regulatory Sales Hall next to Bhavani.Here, farmers brought 211 Bags of sesame for sale. Of this, the black variety was auctioned at Rs 102.89 to Rs 132.80 per kg and the white variety at Rs 118 to Rs 130.71 per kg. A total of 15,812 kg of sesame was sold With value being Rs.19,54,004.
