The red variety fetched a minimum price of 101.59 paise, a maximum price of 142.20 paise and an average price of 121. 89 paise per kg. A total of 9,027 kg of sesame was sold for 11 lakh 71 thousand 867 rupees. Similarly, the farmers who participated in the auction held last week brought 222 bags of sesame seeds for sale. In this, the minimum price of black variety was 89.99 paise, the maximum price was 124.42 paise and the average price was 115.49 paise. Also, red variety was auctioned at a minimum price of 88.99 paise, a maximum price of 139.99 paise and an average price of 133.99 paise per kg. A total of 16,459 kg of sesame was sold for 19 lakh 89 thousand 272 rupees.
