The sesame auction for Rs 7.29 lakh was held on Saturday at the Mylampadi Regulatory Sales Hall next to Bhavani. Here, 94 Bags of sesame were brought for sale. Black Variety ranges from Rs. 91.84 to Rs. 108.89 per kg and white variety from Rs. 95 per kg The auction went up to Rs 107.49. A total of 7,053 kg of sesame was sold for Rs.7,29,156.
